Special and strong anti-slip coated synthetic roofing underlayment with low water absortion and high tensile strength properties ensuring easy application and durability.
Shinglefol Synthetic Roofing was evaluated for select physical properties in accordance with ASTM D226, “Standard Specification for Asphalt-Saturated Organic Felt Used in Roofing and Waterproofing” and ASTM D4869, “Standard Specification for Asphalt-Saturated Organic Felt Underlayment Used in Steep Slope Roofing” for compliance.
The sample was tested in general accordance with the following test methods:
A summary of test results is presented in Table 1. Detailed test results are described in Appendix A. SI units are the primary units of measure.
The sample submitted by Masterplast Inc., identified as "Synthetic Roof Underlayment", meets the breaking strength, pliability and lost of heating requirements set by ASTM D226, Table 1 as a type 1 material when tested as described in this report.
"Synthetic Roof Underlayment", meets the breaking strength, pliability tear strength, loss onheating, liquid water transmission and dimensional stability requirements set by ASTM D4869, Table 1 as a type I, II, III and IV material, when tested as described in this report
